How to craft your own ChobiChobi

Follow these easy steps in order to make one:

  1. Print out
  2. Cut out all parts
  3. Crease and fold lines
  4. Glue all parts

Let's do it.

First of all, make sure you set up your printer scale setting to a 100%. That's important, as this makes your ChobiChobi true to size.

And what happens if you don't do so?

(You might be thinking...)

Well, your life won't stop there!

It's just your ChobiChobi figurine is going to be slightly smaller (but if you like it, then you like it).

Now, you have all three parts printed – head, body and legs.

Get ready your mighty precision snips to cut out all you need. Follow the dashed line. This is the perfect moment to relax. Get that meditative moment. Enjoy.

The next step you do is creasing lines, so you get the process easier when folding your ChobiChobi. We do use Victorinox tool and a ruler here (the best crafting friends).

Are you enjoying it so far? (I bet you do).

But don't stop just yet, you need to do it!

And before you do folding, please, pay attention to mountain folds and valley folds (check out the left corner on your paper instruction!)

Glue and assemble individual parts of your ChobiChobi first.

Then glue head to the body, and don't forget about the legs (align with the dedicated part as shown on each assembled part).

Don't do the way around, otherwise it won't be ChobiChobi, it will be ChibiChibi... Ha-ha.

Voilà!

Finally your collectible is ready to please your eyes. Now you can proudly say you've crafted your own ChobiChobi.
