We, Karina and Alex, have been into collectibles for the last 25 years.
Beanie Babies, Pez, Furby, BearBrick, Funko Pop, Lego, various anime figurines…
You name it.
Also, we love to get new life experiences via residing in different countries for a few years or so.
Moving from country to country with dozens of suitcases full of collectibles became…well…too much for us.
And we questioned the world:
“Are there any physical collectible figurines that can be easy to transport with the least footprint in the suitcase?”
None.
This is the moment when ChobiChobi was born.
Figurines from paper can be printed and assembled easily with no experience. All you need is scissors, glue, and a basic printer.
No printer? No problem.
Just use local printers and save the money. Easy-peasy.
All ChobiChobi figurines are engineered in multiple sizes, including a huge 42 cm tall.
(That’s 16.5 inches, for our friends in the US.)
In fact, this huge 42 cm tall figurine is the largest paper toy on the market that can be assembled by anyone.
You can literally create a gallery-like experience at home.
And many, many, many stunning designs.
Some ChobiChobi designs were made by independent artists around the world. Some by our friends. Some by our family members.
That’s why every single figurine has its own model number.
Now we can keep traveling, and our entire collection of ChobiChobi figurines can be assembled from scratch every single move.
Old figurines can be gifted to neighbors and friends with no regrets. Because the new collection will be printed…again.
Our dream came true.
And we started to build our collection.
It takes up to 5 days to design a new figurine from scratch across all sizes. Copy-paste? Huh… I wish it could be that easy.
Behind the scenes, there is a complicated process of a figurine’s paper parts engineering, design creation, and instructions alignment.
But it’s worth it.
Our collection means a lot to us.
And we hope you will like it too.
Release your inner paper craft genius and build a ChobiChobi you like.
